Ontario's Long-Term Capital Plan
The Ontario government has included universities in its 10-year $60 billion long-term capital infrastructure plan, signalling the importance of academic infrastructure to Ontario's future prosperity.

Knowledge Infrastructure Program
The federal government’s Knowledge Infrastructure Program, an important plank in Canada’s Economic Action Plan, was announced in the 2009 federal budget and provided $500.3 million for Ontario universities. Ontario committed $607.1 million in the 2009 budget and the Strategic Capital Infrastructure Program to our institutions. This funding has helped to stimulate job creation across the province, improve the learning environment for our students, and improve the energy efficiency of campus buildings.
